Story of the region :

Ocuped in the beginning by the first nation(amerindian) during around 6000 years. The first Europeans explorers arrived beginning of XVll century.

At the very start of XlX century, the hard work of the woodcutter create the firsts farms and somes will come villages located on the banks of the rivière La Diable and La Rouge.

A little over XX century, the firsts skiers discovery the mountain by Jack Rabbit, but it's Joe Ryan opend the first station of ski in 1938.

In 1991, as the alpine village, Intrawest bought the Mont Tremblant and promised to make one of the best leisure destination in the world.
